Our Story

It all started when a group of 20 Catholic college students signed up for a digital marketing class at Ave Maria University… and ended up creating something bigger than any homework assignment. What began as a class project quickly turned into The Opus Ave—a student-powered Catholic brand with a heart for faith, family, and community.

Fueled by late-night brainstorming sessions, lots of coffee, and an even greater love for Christ, we set out to prove what students can do when creativity and purpose collide. Our goal? To design products that spark joy, strengthen Catholic identity, and bring people together—whether around the dinner table, at parish events, or during those everyday holy moments.

We’re proudly based in Ave Maria, Florida, a small town where faith shapes daily life and Mary is always nearby cheering us on. Surrounded by this unique community, we’ve built a brand that reflects the spirit of our town and the passion of the students behind it.
